About the Treatment
One 10 minute treatment – very small amounts of Botox® are precisely injected into the target muscles along expression lines on the forehead and the bridge of the nose, around the eyes, or on the neck. This causes the muscles to relax, reducing wrinkles and softening your appearance within a matter of days. The entire process is quick and simple.
Excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, is a medical issue that can be effectively treated through Botox®. When treating hyperhidrosis, minute amounts of Botox® are injected directly into sweat glands, temporarily reducing or eliminating sweat production in treated areas.
Discomfort from the procedure is limited to the few seconds needed for each injection. Botox is a non-surgical procedure that requires no recovery time. You will be able to return to work immediately, though you may experience minor bruising and a light headache on the day of treatment.
The positive effects of Botox start to show within a week of treatment: the target muscles are relaxed, creating a smooth surface that lasts about three to four months. Even after the original effects of Botox® have subsided, the lines that are left behind will not return to their original severity or depth.
